Since 1925 in Pogoni, Epirus, the journey of the Mpoumpa family begins with a privately owned 3,500 goat and sheep unit a privately owned award-winning cheese production facility, which exists and operates to this day in the same – now modernized – facilities.
In 1957, the first butcher’s shop is opened by Grandpa Mpoumpa. In 2004, the company expands its presence with a shop in the northern suburbs of Athens, in Melissia.
Then, in 2015, it moves to a renovated, specially designed and modern space, which remains its headquarters to this day, combining traditional touches and modern character.
Continuing its growth, in 2022, Boubas opens its new, high-end store in Kifissia, a new landmark in its development. In 2023, the company presents a new proposal for gastronomy enthusiasts, the new Fine & Premium Deli Meats line.
